Soar!

Recently, through the power of the Holy Spirit, I released a word to someone. The word God gave me for the individual was SOAR! I want to encourage you with this same word: SOAR! Let’s define what this word means. According to Merriam- Webster Dictionary, soar means to rise or increase very noticeably. God created you to dominate.  In Genesis, God told Adam and Eve “to be fruitful and multiply” (Gen. 1:28). The same is relevant for us today.
Beloved, God wants you to go higher in HIM. God didn’t create us to be average. God desires to do great things in your life. In Deuteronomy 28:1-2(KJV), the Scripture declares, “And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God.” What are you afraid of? The Father has given you permission to SOAR. It’s time to stop playing it safe!  It’s time for you to SOAR. The first step for you to SOAR is to obey the voice of the LORD. Whatever the Father is speaking to you, OBEY HIM.  Obey His instructions!  Secondly, OBEY HIS word. We must keep God’s commandments and live righteously before the Father. God promised in His word if we honor HIM that HIS blessings would overtake us. Are you excited?  If you aren’t, I AM… I’m ready to be overtaken by God’s blessings in my life! I realize time is fleeting by us. Our lives are compared to vapor. This illustration is found  in James 5:14. The point is we see people who are here today and gone tomorrow. We must maximize the time God has given to us. We must seize the moment! We must act on every God-given idea and every God-given opportunity. God has deposited greatness within you. The choice is yours! It’s now or never. Take a leap and fly on the wings of faith.  
Another perspective the Father gave me is He desires for us to SOAR in our relationship with HIM. God never intended for us to be stagnant in our relationship with HIM.  There are deeper levels and realms of His Spirit that He wants us to discover. I love what Jesus told the disciples when they were fishing and they didn’t catch anything. He simply told them in Luke 5:4, “Launch out into the deep.” Are you ready to take the plunge into the deep? Stop playing it safe to make other people happy. Stop trying to fit in!  You were created to stand out and to shine. Lastly, let in order to SOAR we must let go of the opinions of others in order to receive everything God wants to speak into our lives.  We must beSOAR above the status quo and go beyond the norm.  
God wants to do so much in your life. We often hear this Scripture quoted, “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us” (Ephesians 3:20). We first must believe God is able, HE’s capable to do the impossible in your life. 
Don’t limit God: SOAR!

• You will SOAR in the ways & knowledge of GOD. (Ephesians 1:18-20)
• You will SOAR in your relationship with the Father. (Romans 8:38-39)
• You will SOAR in your health. (3 John 1:2)
• You will SOAR with witty ideas and inventions. (Proverbs 8:12)
• You will SOAR in your gifts.(Deuteronomy 15:10) 
• You will SOAR in your finances. (Philippians 4:19 & Deuteronomy 28:12-13)
• You will SOAR in every area of your life. (Psalm 138:8)
• You will SOAR with purpose. (Ephesians 2:10)
